Welcome to
Whispering Winds Ranch
"Where quality and service exceed your expectations."

After a year and a half of researching alpacas, attending shows and farm days, we decided alpacas would be part of our lives.
Whispering Winds Ranch was established in 2004 with the purchase of three female alpacas. We were very excited to bring them home in January 2005 when the fencing and barn addition were complete.
Along with the alpacas, we brought home a guard llama named Siggy.
It didn't take long for us to realize how much we enjoyed these gentle creatures and we were anxious for our farm to grow. We soon purchased our fourth female alpaca and by the end of 2005, we had a herd of eight including the birth of two male and two female crias.
In 2006 we added another llama to the group. This one is a male named Rusty and his job is to guard our young boys.
We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our next crias. It is so exciting to witness the births and finally see what the new babies look like and then watch them grow and develop. Raising alpacas has been a rewarding, educational and enjoyable experience.
